Air Optix Aqua are monthly contact lenses by Alcon designed for daily wear. They were produced out of a breathable silicone hydrogel material – Lotrafilcon B. It is one of the best market positions and a much better choice than traditional hydrogel lenses. These lenses guarantee you not only a high level of eye hydration, but also protection against external pollution. Their smooth surface prevents discomfort due to rubbing against the eyelid. The lenses have been slightly tinted in a light blue color, making the application extremely easy, which will be appreciated by novice users.
Air Optix Aqua are ideal for busy people – they can be worn continuously for up to six nights and seven days. Extended wearing of lenses should be consulted with an optician.

I’ve been using the Ciba Vision lenses for 18 years, and the Air Optix Aqua model
ever since it appeared on the market, the same goes for the Solo Care Aqua lens
liquid (both products used to be offered by Ciba Vision, despite the changes the
quality of the liquid hasn’t changed). I think that my experience in using the above
mentioned products is the best indicator of their quality and comfort of wearing –
they can be used all day long.

So far I am satisfied (it’s only my 3rd month of wearing them), they are soft,
comfortable, don’t irritate the eyes. After more than a dozen hours of wearing they
start making their presence known, but I haven’t found lenses that would be
comfortable 24h yet. The lenses are sold in small packaging, and the price is
affordable. I would recommend them to other users.
